City Hunter

In 1983, the South Korean president and his delegates are visiting Burma when a bomb planted by North Korean agents explodes, killing some high ranking officials. This historical event is called the Rangoon bombing (also known as the Rangoon incident). To strike back, a group of five South Korean officials plan a covert operation to enter North Korea and kill several top members of the North's high command. Lee Jin Pyo and Park Moo Yul, two presidential bodyguards and best friends who were present at the bombing, organize a 21-man team to execute the plan. However, as Lee and Park's team wreaks havoc in Pyongyang, the officials behind it abort the plan to avoid an international crisis if the mission is discovered. Their major concern is that the United States will withdraw its nuclear protection if the mission is made public.

The operation is successful, but as the troops swim out from Nampo to an ROK Navy submarine assigned for their extraction, snipers from the submarine open fire on them. An already injured Park Moo Yul uses his body to shield Lee Jin Pyo, thus saving his life. Jin Pyo swims back to shore and returns to South Korea, where he finds out that the officials who supported the mission purged the assault team's service and personal records.

Vowing to avenge his fallen comrades, Lee kidnaps Moo Yul's infant son. He flees to the Golden Triangle to raise the child as his own and trains the boy intensively in combat. Following an attack on the village, Jin Pyo confesses his long-term plan for revenge to the child, Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min-ho).

Seven years later, after successfully finishing his college years and attaining a doctorate in the United States at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yoon-sung returns to South Korea to fulfill his step-father's plan for revenge. He enters the Blue House as an IT expert under the National Communication Network Team. He is warned by Jin-pyo not to trust anyone and never to fall in love, as doing so will put the people around him in danger.

While working at the Blue House, the plot takes off after Lee meets bodyguard Kim Na Na. Eventually Kim Na Na helps him to take revenge, as they discover that they have the same goal in mind. Both of them start working together, but problems occur during Jin Pyo's revenge plot, especially when Lee defies his stepfather at several occasions as they try to identify and kill the officials behind the North Korea mission.

LEE MIN HO

 Lee Min Ho was born on June 22, 1987. Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor who is best known for his leading role in 2009 as 'Gu Jun Pyo', the leader of the group of students known as F4, in the South Korean television series Boys Over Flowers. He has subsequently appeared in the 2010 romantic comedy drama Personal Taste  and the 2011 action drama City Hunter

Biography

Lee Min Ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. His family consists of his mother, father, and one older sister. As a young child, Lee Min Ho hoped to become a football player, but an injury in the 5th grade of elementary school ended those dreams. However, Lee Min Ho still keeps up with football and mentions Christiano Ronaldo as his favorite player.
In his second year of high school, Lee Min Ho turned his attention to acting. By his senior year in high school he joined Starhaus Entertainment with the help of an acquaintance. After going through training, Min ho started auditioning for roles and landed smaller roles in several television dramas. In 2006, his acting career was put on hold for a year following a serious car accident in which he was badly injured.Childhood friend and fellow actor Jung Ill Woo was also injured in the accident. His major breakthrough came in 2009 with Min Ho landing the lead role of Gu Jun-pyo in the KBS2 drama Boys Over Flowers, the Korean adaptation of the popular Japanese television drama Hana yori Dango, which was based on the popular Shojo Manga , Boys over flowers . The television series and its actors became immensely popular throughout Asia, and the show regularly received ratings of over 30% in South Korea. Lee Min Ho is majoring in Film & Art at Konkuk University. In 2011, he starred in the hit action drama City Hunter , which became the number one drama in its time slot, reaching 19.9% ratings. The show's popularity throughout Asia has also contributed to Lee Min Ho's growing popularity in Asia, most notably in China. Lee Min Ho is also popular in the Philippines where three of his TV series were broadcast on the country's national TV.
